Refund Policy

A full refund is available within 14 days of your first payment, one per account. Renewals are not refundable — cancel before the renewal date instead.

Try before you pay

Every plan starts with a 21-day free trial with full access to every feature. The trial exists so the refund policy rarely has to matter — if Kora is not right for you, cancel during the trial and you are never charged.

The terms

Window
14 days from your first payment. Not from the trial start, and not from a renewal.
First payment only
The window applies to the first charge on an account. Renewals — monthly or annual — are not refundable. Cancel before the renewal date instead; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
One per account
One refund per account, ever. This holds across cancellations and re-subscriptions, and across plan changes.
The account closes
A refund ends the subscription immediately rather than at the end of the period. Your local data is unaffected — it lives on your Mac.
Founder Pricing is not retained
A refunded account does not keep its Founder Pricing rate. Re-subscribing later means joining at whatever the current rate is.
Tax
Stripe Tax is set to automatic. In the US and Canada, applicable sales tax is added to the price at checkout. Elsewhere, where a country requires tax to be included in the displayed price, Stripe treats the listed amount as tax-inclusive. Any refund returns the tax that was actually charged.
Abuse
Repeat sign-ups to obtain multiple refunds, or a chargeback raised without contacting us first, ends access and forfeits eligibility.

Annual plans

Annual billing is the monthly rate multiplied by 10 — two months free. The same 14-day window applies to the first annual payment. After that window an annual subscription runs to the end of its term; it is not refunded pro rata, and it does not become refundable again at renewal.

  • Local — $7.00/month or $70.00/year
  • Creator — $12.00/month or $120.00/year
  • Pro — $25.00/month or $250.00/year

How to request one

Email hello@soniteq.co from the address on the account, within the window. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

You do not need to give a reason. If something is not working we would rather hear about it, but the refund does not depend on it.

What this does not cover

  • Renewal charges, monthly or annual — cancel before the renewal date instead.
  • Accounts that have already received a refund.
  • Charges more than 14 days old.
  • Partial refunds for unused time on a plan you keep.

Cancelling is always available from your account settings and takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. See also Terms of Service and what happens if you cancel.
